Digipack Draft By Daisy Muir
Poster draft by Lyle Howe
I feel my draft of the album poster is interesting and I like it as the image is titled to the side, however its still the whole image. I think that this looks better than just having a mid-shot image slammed in the middle of the page. As Lyle stated we both have similar writing about the album release date and the album name written diagonally, I feel this stands out and makes it easier for the audience to see as well as making the poster look different.
The above image is a CD draft which i have created. We started to work on the design and felt this would be a good idea, however now i have tested it out the text doesn't look very good and i cannot get the design to look how i would like. I am going to try again to design in a different way, i do like the background image however. I have used the image of Paris as our Music Video and theme throughout is about love.
Digipak Draft By Georgia Langridge
This is my first digipak back cover draft, I used ideas we have drafted as a group and used Photoshop to create it. I used the house style we planned and worked with a variety of texts and images to get the right look. We didn't use this for our final digipak back cover because we felt as though it didn't really fit in with our theme. we also decided against using it because some of the songs titles weren't what we wanted to use as we felt they didn't suit the album we was trying to portray,we also changed the name of the album which meant song titles had to be changed as-well. Although we aren't using this copy we found that it helped develop my ideas further for the final digipak, which helped to to improve and make it more realistic and professional.
